Middle Atlas: Immouzar - Dayet Aoua - Ifran - Cedar Forest - Azrou
At 9:30 am we begin our journey through the Berber tribes. Our first stop will be in Immouzar Kandar, a big Berber village for a Moroccan vacation in the summer ‎. The next is Dayet Aoua, a lake surrounded by woodlands; the whole area is notably rich in birdlife. After relaxing here, we continue through Ifran (“Moroccan Switzerland”) and the Cedar forest, where you can enjoy playing with monkeys in a clean atmosphere. Afterwards, we head out to explore Azrou (meaning “great rock”). Azrou hosts one of the region's largest weekly souqs, and is particularly known for its Berber carpets. In the evening we head back to Fez.
